CARPENTER
We are seeking a skilled carpenter with proven experience to join our workshop team in Speke, Liverpool. The successful candidate will hold relevant qualifications in carpentry, woodwork or joinery, and demonstrate a track record of excellent performance. The Custom Shop team have welcomed carpenters and woodworkers from a range of backgrounds, including domestic and commercial construction, boatbuilding and other roles.
The Custom Shop workshop is where we convert VW Transporter panel vans into luxury campers. As the lead carpenter you will be responsible for fabricating and installing our handmade wooden kitchens in the new conversions, making use of the excellent facilities and workshop space at our South Liverpool site. Other woodworking tasks around the vans and general support for the rest of the workshop team will also be expected. Training and guidance will be provided as part of the role, but we look for quick learners who can work independently and feel confident to innovate and improve our processes.
You will be joining a small but motivated team under the direct line management of our workshop manager, Iain. Working hours for this role are 9-5pm Monday to Friday, with generous holiday days and a competitive rate of pay. Please be aware that we work to deadlines, and sometimes you will be required to stay later ( you will get this this time back later in the week or month).

WORKSHOP TECHNICIAN
We are currently inviting applications to join our workshop team in Speke, Liverpool. The successful candidate will be a hardworking and reliable individual with experience in a technical role, this could be carpentry, joinery, electrics, or manufacturing. Past technicians have come from automotive, boatbuilding and aviation backgrounds.
The Custom Shop workshop is where we convert VW Transporter panel vans into luxury campers. Processes you will be involved with include removing and reinstalling pop-top roofs, interior installation of new upholstery, seating and built-in furniture and electrical components, and interior wiring of heating, audio and lighting. There will be on the job training for these specialised processes, but we expect the successful candidate to be a quick learner with some experience in one or all of these areas.
You will be joining a small but motivated team under the direct line management of our workshop manager, Iain.
